This year has seen the work of our group go from strength to strength, a fact upon which many favourable comments have been heard. The Flower Power Group work in four teams each one of which is now completely responsible for their own “weekend”. A fact which has given members ownership of their own activity, this being a contributory factor to the effect of the floral arrangements which we see it church.

It is encouraging that more people are requesting to do their own arrangements when it is their special anniversary or occasion. This is reflected it that most brides now seem to arrange their own floral displays. If you have little or no experience of such things, remember flowers in a vase can look just as attractive as the most prestigious display. Any of the group would be happy to help or advise.

We thank all who give flowers, greenery and donations to make our church look so welcoming, not only for Easter, Harvest and Christmas but through out all the other “unsung” Sundays of the year.
